To showcase the beautiful imagery that reflect Dignity Memorial's locations, and help drive decision making with customers who want to tour the location, I continuously iterated on updates to our location pages.
What was once a static hero image was transformed into a slider with a preview of other photos in the gallery. The side previews add movement to the page without having an auto-scrolling slider, inviting engagement and click throughs to the gallery.
To help with page speed load, the hero image slider strategically showcases only five photos with a CTA to view the rest in the gallery modal. This helps accommodate our diverse portfolio of locations that have as few as 5 images to 50+.
Further down the page, instead of a long bulleted list of amenities, there is now an interactive list of amenities through the use of tabs and horizontal scroll. Iconography makes it easy to scan while horizontal scroll gives the flexibility to add or remove categories without effecting the length of the location page, which is especially important on mobile.
